Metdist Trading Limited is the only privately owned company that is a Category 1 member of the London Metal Exchange (LME). We were incorporated in the early 1970s as a privately owned firm and have remained so ever since.
Metdist Trading Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
We have been trading on the LME open outcry trading floor since 1972. As one of the longest running companies to trade on the floor our reputation is second to none. The Metdist Group also trades physical contracts as well as  the futures contracts on a daily basis.
We trade all of the LME non-ferrous metal contracts which include Copper Grade A, Primary Aluminium, Standard Lead, Tin, Special High Grade Zinc, Primary Nickel, Aluminium Alloy and NASAAC (North American Special Aluminium Alloy Contract)  as well as the  LME global PP Plastic, LME global LL Plastic and Steel Billet contracts.
We trade through a variety of forums to establish markets which include electronic trading on LME Select, the 24 hour telephone market and the LME open outcry trading floor which trades between 11.45am and 5pm.
The LME has been established for over 130 years and is still the world’s premier non-ferrous metals market.
